Description
What is the biggest change you've witnessed in your lifetime?
There are many, besides the end of the reaper cycles. Several years after the end of the war, the asaris disclosed everything they knew about the protheans; they were hard truths to share, but it did help the recovery. The resettlement of Rannoch by the guardian-geth alliance was a huge milestone. The opening of the batarian's borders to migratory and commercial traffic, though that's still a slow process, but shouldn't be discounted. The raloi becoming a part of the galactic scene was important, too. There have been lots of changes I've seen in my many years.
How have you dealt with seeing a lot of your friends passing before you?
It's something that the asari are prepared for, but I can't pretend it wasn't hard. We love upwards of eight lifetimes compared to other species, so ever since we've been in contact with other species we've adapted to the idea that relationships are meaningful, and important, but they are limited by the years. We celebrate people's lives, and we allow ourselves to grieve. It was hard to let go of the people I went through so much with, but their lives were long and we had many good years together. I'm still in the lives of their descendants; my family that branches out across the galaxy.

Liara would have to reach quite an age before she started to get wrinkles! So technically she wouldn't get an interview at the same time as the other elders, but let's ignore that for the sake of this series
